Membership + Marketing Assistant

The Membership + Marketing Assistant provides a professional and welcoming front-of-house presence and responds to member, associate and public enquiries, both on the phone and in person.

This is a hands on role responsible for maintaining and updating membership records; processing payments; supporting the delivery of services to the membership and providing administration support throughout the organisation.

Tell us about your experience in customer service, a strong knowledge and understanding of WA visual artists, as well as an understanding of social media marketing and public relations. You will also have a high level of organisation and ability to talk with artists and clients in a positive, professional and knowledgeable manner.


Professional Development Officer

Fixed-term contract (six months)
$50,000 - $55,000 (0.3 pro rata)

The Professional Development Officer, is responsible for the delivery of the 2019 Artsource Professional Development programme, Business Acumen for Artists and ARI’s. The role is fixed-term, part-time with flexible working hours and conditions. 

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the professional needs and issues facing contemporary visual artists and the specific aims of Artsource membership and partnership opportunities. This role provides the hands on delivery of dynamic events, predominantly at Old Customs House (OCH) in Fremantle.

You will enjoy closely collaborating with artists and event partners as well as maintaining a high level of organisation.  Your experience in maintaining timely and accurate project reporting is highly valued.

Artsource brings together Western Australian artists, audiences, supporters and communities in the development, exploration and appreciation of the visual arts. In 2019, the Professional Development Coordinator will introduce new ideas to inform sustainability in arts practice and drive instruction of new business models for a wide demographic of individual artists, plus engage with organisational groups and strategic partnerships.

We also work with others developing, supporting and delivering initiatives that lead the way in creating the environment where art is valued and artists flourish.
