Background

Established in 1986, Artsource is the peak membership body for visual artists in Western Australia. Our purpose is to engage with and support Western Australian visual artists with practical, affordable and relevant services. We also work with others developing, supporting and delivering initiatives that lead the way in creating the environment where art is valued and artists flourish. Artsource is not-for-profit and supported financially by Government and many committed patrons, donors and sponsors.

Artsource has successfully applied for three-year funding through the new Organisations Investment Program (OIP), operated by the Department of Culture and the Arts (DCA). This funding helps support the Board's new and ambitious three-year strategic plan, which reaffirms that artist Members are at the heart of all we do.
