Patterns reflective of the idea of ‘home’ and domestic living spaces such as wallpaper designs, damask fabric and architectural filigree have provided the initial design inspiration for this artwork consisting of artificial plants and aluminium laser cut shapes.

Curved forms of Western Australian flora such as Grevilleas and Kangaroo Paws are also alluded to, with the Lemon-scented Darwinia holding centre stage for flower design/light fixtures.  During evening hours programmed LED lighting illuminates the wall in a slowly changing glow of different colours. This artwork provides an iconic identity for the new apartment complex.
