Artist Simon Gilby was commissioned to create a spectacular public artwork suspended between two office buildings in Perth’s thriving city fringe location. The artwork is suspended by eight steel cables and at over 10 meters high, makes a striking statement in steel against the clean contemporary lines of the buildings’ architecture.

The artist describes the work as "a depiction of a suspended moment of flow, an encapsulated wind or breath. Evolved from experiments with poured molten metal, Pneuma aspires to describe the invisible forces of gravity and time, the forces that lend form to the organic and inorganic entities that surround us."
