Vasse Village Centre - EOI Stage 1
Expressions of Interest are open for artists to create two engaging artworks to feature prominently in the new Vasse Village Centre and celebrate the 'down south' lifestyle the South West region is renowned for.
A series of four Public Art Projects will be integrated in the Village Centre during 2018.
Artwork One
Expressions of Interest are sought from artists who are interested in delivering a public artwork for a long section of wall at the rear of the new Coles Supermarket facing the main shopping centre carpark. The artwork needs to be suitably welcoming to shoppers and visitors to the Vasse township and conceptually representative of Vasse and the South West region. Ideally, the artwork will include 2D and 3D elements to provide vibrancy, depth and interest.
Value of Commission: up to $35,000

Artwork two
Expressions of Interest are osught from artists who are interested in delivering a public artwork for a small (200x200cm) square ection of wall on the eastern facade of Lot 102 facing the main Vasse entrance roundabout. The artwork needs to be suitably welcoming to the local community, shoppers and visitors to the Vasse township and the South West region, incorporating community themes, interactions or involvement in the artwork itself.
Value of Commission: up to $20,000
