Artsource has introduced a new way for individuals to support the work of visual artists in Western Australia and, with the end of the financial-year looming, now is a great time to be making a fully tax-deductible donation to support a cause you love.

Starting at $30/month, or just $20/month for young patrons, the refreshed Patrons Program is a great way for those who care about artists and the visual arts to support us by making a regular monthly, or annual, donation.

Miik Green, artist and new Artsource Board member commented:

“The work that Artsource does to support visual artists such as myself is crucial and the donations made by the patrons make a huge difference.”

Miik, who has signed up as a patron himself, continued, “I ask anyone with an interest in the arts to please consider being an Artsource patron; this assistance directly benefits artists and the arts community in Western Australia.”

Although Artsource is proud to have our work part-funded by Government through the Department of Culture and the Arts, this accounts for just 18% of our income; we need to raise the remaining 82% elsewhere.

Gavin Buckley, Artsource CEO, said:

“Our new Patrons Program is designed to help Artsource secure the money necessary to support and grow the vital services we offer visual artists."

"The case for support is clear and with regular monthly donations, you don’t need to be a ‘major donor’ to participate. I look forward to welcoming others joining me as an Artsource patron."

The donations made by patrons are fully tax deductible. Patrons get to feel involved as active participants in a cause that they care for and wish to see flourish.
