Artist Statement

Patterns in nature is the basis of my concept - Medical text books, antique medical engravings, books on the biology of insects, or a particularly interesting leaf, these are the things that lie around my studio, feeding my endless fascination with the everyday happenings within nature.


Jana Wallace Braddock is an Australian visual artist with over ten years professional experience.  After beginning her career in South Australia and successfully completing a Masters in Visual Arts in 2011 Jana moved to Perth WA to further extend her visual arts career, both as an artist and curator.  Jana is currently a practicing artist and the Curator of Heathcote Museum & Gallery.
