Subscribing offers exceptional value for ongoing access to artists, consultancy services and promotion of your art activities. A broad range of services at a reasonable rate is often preferable to paying one-off fees.

Examples of how clients use artsource services:

Tom Muller

Mirvac

Client:
Mirvac

Artsource services used:

Mirvac approached Artsource to assist in the appointment of an artist to take the role of Project Artist for the proposed development at Kenny Bay south of Perth. The Project Artist will contribute to overall infrastructure design of the development.

Looking for a market advantage Mirvac sought to engage an artist at an early stage in the project design.

Artsource approach

This project provided and exceptional opportunity to bring an artist onto a design team at the very earliest stage of development.

The Project Artist will identify opportunities for art works and develop an overarching concept plan. The artist is expected to contribute in like manner to other professionals and will be paid accordingly. The project is expected to be developed in several stages and take up to 10 years to plan and implement. The selected artist is expected to stay with the project for the development of stage one which may take up to five years.

Tom Muller was selected for the project by interview, from a group of five artists. This represents a new move in his practice and one that allows for considerable scope for his particular talents and expertise.

Artsource and Mirvac will work together to ensure that the artist involvement is managed and supported.

Client Comment:
At St Hilda's students are exposed to as much original art and interaction with practising artists as possible. We have a number of programs in which we employ local artists such as; weekend and term long after school workshops, art camp, artist in residence ( of which we have two per year) and artist talks. We became members of Artsource this year and have found their help in sourcing artists invaluable. Bec Juniper and Linda Van der Merwe joined us on our recent art camp in Dwellingup conducting excellent painting and drawing workshops. We are currently looking at biographies of other artists for our next residency this term.
