ARTSOURCE APPROACH:

Artsource works with CCIWA and members in partnership to achieve the very tangible benefits for the visual arts sector, the businesses and ultimately the community.
In developing the relationship between artsource and CCI, CCI members not only have an opportunity to support the arts but have the chance to enrich employees experience, use or display creations, engage with communities in which they are involved, both parties benefit.

Art collection
Artsource has worked with CCIWA to build an exceptional art collection of considerable value.
The current collection of artwork reflects the artwork policy developed as the building itself was constructed.

Lease / Buy
The artworks in the building are a unique combination of commissions, purchases, leases and loans that together enliven the spaces and provide food for conversation and debate.  This combination of methods for achieving diversity of artworks brings a capacity to refresh the look and feel of the building annually.  It is incidentally also a very cost efficient tool.
Currently 17 works are on loan from the Homes `a court collection – Heytesbury and 5 works are leased directly from the artists.

Annual event
Artsource also assists in organizing an annual arts/ industry event which over the last two years has showcased artsource artist members works in the foyer of CCIWA with informal tours of the collection.

Future plans for these events incorporate site visits to artist’s studios and or artist in residence opportunities
