Jenny Kerr, Senior Art Consultant provided advice to develop an artwork strategy for the Busselton Jetty Bridge rebuild. The Artwork plan is based on art and place making - a heritage interpretation method whereby collaboration is a key component. The plan outlined the role of artists and artworks in the interpretation of the Busselton Jetty and provided a process for the selecting the Artistic Team with a recommended commissioning method and selection/assessment process. A recommended material palette provided information on any materials to be used or considered in the production and installation of the interpretive artworks. A time frame for design, fabrication and installation of artworks and integrated projects and an indicative budget was recommended. |
