BRIEF: |
This exciting project called for Noongar artists to create works that tell the story of Yagan, his life and death, in the Yagan Memorial Park. The City of Swan required assistance in the initial selection process and subsequent support of artists throughout the project |
| |
ARTSOURCE APPROACH:
This is a specialised project for Noongar artists with some experience in public art or an interest in gaining knowledge in the area. The project offered an opportunity for our Noongar artist members to gain more experience in the public art field.
Artsource facilitated the client scoping for artist opportunities and artist selection stage one and supported artists and clients to completion of project in 2010, stage two. |
