| City Beach
The Ocean Gardens Retirement Village in City Beach has made available a large working room for use by artists. The room was previously used by the residents as an art space and includes easels, tables and sundry art supplies.
The space is available for no cost; however the artists are required to provide some activity and interaction with the residents. On an informal basis, this might take the form of residents ‘dropping in to observe or chat’ (boundaries/times can be set); and on a formal basis artists could run an activity with the residents once a week (workshop, art class).
Artists need to be mindful of the sensitivities of the residents, and need to be happy and willing to communicate with the oldies.

- The village is situated on several hectares with ocean views at 60 Kalinda Drive, City Beach
- There are approximately 300 residents in the village
- Studio space is approx 20m x 8m
- Studio can be used as artist’s personal studio
- Studio would be available 7 days a week from 7am to 7pm
- Artists can work outside in the gardens
- Term is for 12 months and could be extended for an additional 12 months
