The Farm Margaret River - 2021 Funded Residency


Applications are now open for The Farm Margaret River’s annual funded residency. Now in its fourth year, the funded residency is focused on site-specific projects and is open to Western Australian early and established career artists of all disciplines.

The artist will receive $5,000 to undertake research, creative development and collaborations that are reflective of their time spent at the property. Travel expenses and accommodation are also provided by The Farm Margaret River.

The Farm Margaret River funded residency is open to everybody. It sets to create safe spaces and promote accessibility, contrustive dialogue, and collective communities.

Entries close on Friday 28 May 2021 at 5:00pm AWST and the recipient will be announced in July 2021, with the residency scheduled to run for five to eight weeks between October and December.

The Farm Margaret River acknowledges that the arts and cultural industries have experienced, and will continue to experience, disruption from the impacts of COVID-19 and is excited to bring this opportunity to Western Australians to assist in maintaining creative industries, supporting arts practices, facilitating experimentation
and encouraging viability during this period.
