Artist Statement

A love of drawing in stitch and deconstructed cloth sees her exploring beauty in the imperfect and the need for genuine expression. Free hand machine embroidery, deconstruction and print are primary techniques used to imbue a sense of the visceral. While perceived as fragile and quiet, there is underlying strength, tension and thoughtfulness present.
