I have worked in the field of art and science collaboration, beginning in 1996 with Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines, winning the Premier’s prize for innovative sponsorship for Geoderma in1997; an exhibition which toured Australia and was part of the London Festival of Electronic Arts.(tinyurl.com/geoderma).
This was the first of the many touring shows I have produced and curated with ART ON THE MOVE, resulting in my being made Chair of that organization. I have undertaken residencies at the Horizon Planetarium at Scitech; the WA Department of Industry and Resources; and at the Sodankylä Geophysical Observatory in Finland - a collaboration with Dr Thomas Ulich, Vice Director; Head of Observations. As a digital media artist, see ANAT site: tinyurl.com/carsonanat ) and as a painter, I have works in the Art Gallery of Western Australia collection.
