Artist Statement

“The Route” consists of an assemblage of 16 spherical, mixed media drawings, with elements of collage, mimicking the zooming-in feature of Google maps. The abstracted drawings, as painted from the mind’s eye, give a bird’s eye view exemplifying an enigmatic visualization of the Queens Baton route.
