The Farm Margaret River Residency
The Farm Margaret River, is a newly created residency program in Western Australia, bringing together artists and agri-culturalists who are focused on developing projects that are rooted in country, in the soil, air and water of this specific location.
We offer residencies of large scale and long term projects, and our studios are available for short term use. Our residency program offered at The Farm Margaret River is suitable for a range of artists and researchers.
At a glance
Duration of residency: four/five weeks.
Funding provided: A$4,550 (artist fee and accomodation) a separate fee will be provided for travel expenses. Travels to and from the residency will be covered. Please note daily travels are self-funded.
Residency dates: from October to November 2019
Eligibility + requirements
Applicants from all nationalities (18+) are encouraged to apply.
Applicants must be able to obtain a temporary visa. For more information please refer to the Australian Government website (CLICK HERE).
Applicants must have a good level of written and spoken English.
Applicants must be professional practising artists and recognised as such by their peers.
Late applications will not be accepted. Applications must be received by 9:00am (AWST) Monday 13 May 2019.
Have maintained an independent professional practice for at least 10 years.
Have a driver's licence, Australian or international.
