DRAWinternational, Caylus France

In March 2016 I began a six week AIR in the medieval village of Caylus in France. An excellent opportunity to re-connect with the drawing medium which has become neglected within my practice.

2015
CBD BUNBURY

Negotiated the use of a commercial space in the City of Bunbury for two weeks: second week funded by City Council. Worked daily. Interesting interaction with public with some sales.

Artist Statement

Predominately a painter, my work also encompasses collage, assemblages, drawing and photography. The use of a variety of media provides opportunity for expressing particular concepts. Oil painting is my preferred medium. My art is explorative and underpinned with emotive intent. The physicality of media and materials is of importance in my creative process.
