Artist Statement

My practice is primarily painting and drawing and extends ideas of abstraction, landscape and identity. I experiment with the physicality of the medium and process to explore a more fluid approach allowing imagery to spring from process. I am increasingly interested in plasticity, and a psychological response to cultural and physical environments.
