Artist Statement

Rachel Riggs artworks explore the collective nostalgic narrative of our sensory relationships to found objects. Ethereal fragments, worthless objects and abandoned materials, are upcycled to create a hint of memory, the lost and found everyday junk made into the extraordinary! Her background in puppetry & theatre, also influences her installation art.
