Debra Scidone

Biography

Debra is a self-taught artist with over 20 years of experience Debra works as a full-time artist. Debra has held 4 Solo and 19 joint exhibitions,7 as Guest Artist. This year is her 9th Annual Open Studio 2022. Exhibition highlights include converting a working character-filled shearing shed into a very formidable Gallery space in Corrigin Western Australia in 2017 and more recently she held a Solo Exhibition in the main foyer of The Pan Pacific Hotel in Perth, 2019. In 2016 she exhibited in Beijing and Nantoong Universities, China. Debra produced a major collaborative artwork collection with Chris Marshall, "Mandjar Blues" in 2011, ALCOA Mandurah Art Gallery. *Public Artworks- Mandurah Traffic Bridge Banner Series 2018 *50 Awards across all media categories *Pastel, M/M and W/C workshops available *Involved with Atwell Youth Art Awards (Hanging, Curating, Judging)

“An Invitation to be Curious”... With over 20 years of story-telling as a Visual Artist I share my love of art and the world around us as I create subtle, fascinating conversation starters and thought provoking statement pieces. A common thread that arises is our connection to nature and each other.
