Biography

I work primarily in contemporary mural art and specialise in large scale public art contracts for state and local government, corporations as well as professional services and private commissions. As a community artist I have 25+ years experience working with local government, schools, and community arts organisations, facilitating inclusive art projects in metropolitan, regional and remote areas of WA. I'm a fan of vintage commercial graphics and signage, comic and graphic novel design, illustration and graffiti. The historic graphic art styles of the mid-century modern era also fuel my creative soul.

Artist Statement

I love creative problem solving and enjoy making work that responds to the location in a way that is engaging to the viewer and satisfying for myself as the creator. My influences are broad. I'm intrigued by the patterns and forms found in nature, the behaviour of plants and animals, and the feelings the land, sea and sky evoke in me.
