Notice of a Special General Meeting of The Artists' Foundation of Western Australia Limited

On behalf of the Board, we wish to advise you of the upcoming Special General Meeting of the members of The Artists' Foundation of Western Australia Limited.

The details of this meeting are as follows:

Date: Thursday 26 August 2021
Time: 6:00PM for a 6:15PM start
Place: Old Customs House, 8 Phillimore Street, Fremantle

The Board is keen to increase transparency and give members a greater opportunity to have a say in the strategic direction of our organisation and to participate in driving some of the new initiatives arising from the successful RISE grant. 

All current Members are entitled to vote at the SGM.

If you are unable to attend the SGM, you can send your apologies and nominate a current Member to vote on your behalf via Proxy Voting Form emailed to the Secretary Taylor Denning (taylor.board@artsource.net.au) by 5pm Wednesday 25 August.
 

Digital Attendance 

If you would like to attend digitally, please register for a 'Digital Attendance' ticket on Eventbrite by 12pm Tuesday 24 August. Members will not be able to register for this option after 24 August due to organisational requirements surrounding live-streaming capacities.

Board Nominations

At the SGM, there will be an election for two vacant director positions. To be eligible for election to the Board, a person must have been a financial Member for at least one year prior to nomination and remain a member during his or her elected term.

Key Dates

• 5pm Friday 20 August: Board nomination forms must be submitted to board@artsource.net.au.
• Monday 23 August: Information about the nominees will be sent to all Members.
• 12pm Tuesday 24 August: If attending digitally, Members need to have registered their attendance. 
• 5pm Wednesday 25 August: If attending physically, Members need to have registered their attendance. CLICK HERE to register your attendance. 
• SGM, 6pm Thursday 26 August: Members will vote, and the elected Board members will be announced.
