Kirsty Watkins is a contemporary artist based in the Margaret River region of Western Australia, renowned for her photorealistic paintings of ocean landscapes above, below, and at the water’s surface. Artist Statement

My work is an exploration of connection: to the ocean, the landscape, and the quiet moments found in nature. Through photorealistic painting, I aim to capture the light, movement, & atmosphere of places that evoke calm, reflection, and a sense of escape. Each piece is an invitation to pause yourself in the restorative beauty of the natural world.
