Biography
Marite is the founder and creative director of The Art Space Collective, in Scarborough. Working in photographic art and mixed media since 2003 - in other words tearing, ripping and burning bits of her photos and gluing them into epic random artworks - she has held a number of exhibitions in Perth and Hong Kong. Expressing herself through slivers of contrasting images – the collage medium - Marite also writes poetry, reflecting something of this fragmented style. She has had poetry published in the literary magazine, Westerly.
