Artist Statement
Primarily, my work is an expression of my ideas about the link between the domestic and the wild; the cultivated and the natural. Memory, and notions of how the past shapes our future also fascinate me. My preferred medium is paint, usually oil. It allows for changes and adjustments, building up layers of paint, giving a subtle complexity to the work.
