Biography

Her studio art practice encompasses printmaking and painting to create a current body of work which explores nature, found objects and domestic surroundings. Native flowers and birds become subjects and motifs in still life, landscape and abstract pieces winning several awards for her original artworks and exhibits regularly throughout Perth and surrounds. Her public art practice runs parallel to her studio work and she has been involved with local business, schools, community groups and government agencies to design and install public artworks throughout Perth, The Wheatbelt and The South West.

Artist Statement

Nicola is a Perth based multi-award winning artist and owner of The Artists Nook Gallery in Guildford. She has a BA Honours in Fine Art Printmaking from Gray’s School of Art in Scotland.
