A steering group of organisations with a keen interest in the visual arts conducted a feasibility study. Supported by Lotterywest, the study was to ascertain the potential shape and feasibility of a major international visual arts event for Western Australia. The philosophy driving the feasibility was that the event must deliver a new, distinctive and exciting experience to benefit the visual arts in our state. Anyone interested was invited to contribute ideas, thoughts and comments.
