Biography

Born in the UK in 1978, after finishing school I went to Buckinghamshire Chilterns University to study for my BA (Hons) Ceramics and Glass. I qualified as a practising wheel thrown ceramist. I set up my own business and made my own wares for 6 years before heading back to university to study a PGCE in secondary education. I have been teaching in both the UK and Australia for over 15 years. I have 2 children of my own and currently work part time for a school in Anglican Schools commission.

Artist Statement

I am have been an Art teacher for 15 years. Prior to becoming a teacher I had my own pottery business in the UK where I made my own thrown pottery. I am now just starting to make my own work again after having children of my own. I run children's and adults pottery workshops in my own time.
