Artist Statement

Scattered organic fragments are collected and become encased in paper pulp. These evolve into delicate sculptures. This process fulfills a need to use up the discarded and forgotten and a preference for celebrating the joy of the insignificant and ephemeral. Through careful contemplation of the landscape serene stylized images emerge.
