Artist Statement

The current inspiration for my art practice comes through observing the life cycle of plants in my garden. I'm inspired to include the special qualities I discover about each plant species in my artworks. This includes the changes that occur seasonally, through day and night and also depicting the plant structure, their colours and textures.
