Artist Statement

Since returning to Perth in August, I have begun exploring the parks and gardens to draw and photograph ducks. These studies have become the basis for paintings. So far, the Pacific Black Ducks and Wood Ducks have suited my purpose. Currently, the settings for my ducks have been chosen around Perth, mainly in Subiaco.
