The Farm Residency Workshop + Talk

Join The Farm Margaret River artist-in-residence Cora Jongsma at Old Customs House for a workshop and artist talk discussing her residency project. Based in the Netherlands, Jongsma's practice involves conducting landscape research projects through interaction, movement or unfolding feltscapes to make visible the connection between human and earth.

UNFOLD STORIES

Nowadays the sustainability of agriculture is discussed and habitats and landscapes must be preserved for future generations. Making visible the connection of farmers with their land, the input of new stories can be necessary for the political debate of sustainable land use and water supply in the municipality of Margaret River. This project with Australian farmers, maintainers of landscape and their agricultural parcels is part of my artistic research from abroad and in the Netherlands.
