Artist Statement

My current series of paintings explores themes of spaciousness, calm, and personal symbolism, centering around painterly, expressive objects that evoke a sense of contemplation. At the heart of these works is the ocean—vast, ever-changing, and deeply metaphorical—representing an ocean of love and mercy. Within this expanse, buoys serve as a recurring motif.
