Biography
A life-long passion for art has led me to a career in the field of visual art. In 2004, I received my Bachelor of Fine Art from Savannah College of Art & Design,. I received my Graduate Diploma for Education in 2005 from Curtin University. In 2017, after ten amazing years of teaching, I decided to step away from the classroom in order to focus on my own studio practice. Highlights of 2017 include murals commissioned by the City of Stirling and the City of Vincent. Working in the public sphere was a wonderful opportunity to engage the local community whilst also emphasising the amazing wildlife in these areas. In addition to my own art making, I am also passionate about helping young people to unlock their creative potential. I have facilitated a number of collaborative projects with children of all ages, including mosaics, murals and mixed-media sculptures.
