Andrew Stumpfel

Biography

Andrew Stumpfel has a BA with distinction from the Western Australian Institute of Technology [WAIT], School of Art and design, after a five year programme at Applecross Special Art [GAT]. Other periods of study includes: Clay and Glass at Curtin University, Lithography at Claremont Technical College and welding at TAFE. Over the last twenty years he has worked in Perth, with periods in Melbourne and London in the field of art and design. Exhibitions include the Bestial Show at the Lawrence Wilson Gallery in Perth and the Greythorn Gallery in Melbourne. His work is held in private and institution collections including the Holmes á Court collection and the National Gallery of Australia - National Sculpture Prize and Exhibition
