New Artist Commissions (2015)

Artsource is very excited to announce the following artist commissions.

  • Perth-based artist Tom Múller has been commissioned to create a dynamic, elegant artwork for the new Waterfront Hotel at Elizabeth Quay. Inspired by the Swan River locale the work is designed to emulate the architectural expression of the building whilst articulating a sense of connection between City and River.
  • Regional artist Tania Spencer will create a maritime themed artwork fabricated from handwoven steel cable for a new Coles development in Albany.
  • The new Point Street Hilton in Fremantle will feature a major sculptural commission by local Perth artist Anne Neil, an integrated artwork for the building canopies by Alister Yiap, and a landmark artwork for the building façade by Bevan Honey and Susanna Castleden.
  • Snapcat (Renae Coles and Anna Dunnill) will perform a series of ‘Tiny Parades’ as part of The Perth Public Art Foundation PerthFLUX program of temporary and ephemeral art works taking place throughout the city.
  • Sixty-Two artists have been engaged as part of the artwork procurement for Ronald McDonald House.
