Artist Statement

Much of my inspiration comes from natural elements and personal experiences. An important part of my process is making, detailing and finishing, to a degree that invites deeper analysis. My intention is to create sculptural work that has an impact on the viewer, to generate feelings above thoughts.
 

Biography

Pascal was born in Quebec, Canada and has lived in Perth, Australia for more than 10 years. He graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Visual Art at North Metro. Tafe, Perth in 2012.
 
An important part of Pascal's process is making, detailing and finishing, to a degree that invites deeper analysis. His intention is to create work that has an impact on the viewer, to generate feelings above thoughts.
 
Since graduating, his work was chosen to be shown in Hatched 2013,  Mundaring Arts Centre and  City of Melville Sculpture Walk 2013, where the council purchased His artwork and placed as an entry point to the City of Melville. Pascal also been selected to be in a joint exhibition with emerging and established artists at Heathcote Museum and Gallery entitled “Handle With Care” in 2015. Fallowing this exhibition, pascal was  invited to host a solo show at Heathcote in 2016, entitled “Stigma”.
